Sheryl was born in Texas, moved to Alaska for elementary school, Colorado for high school, then back to Alaska.  Sheryl met her husband in Alaska.  Together they moved to Minnesota in 1984.

Sheryl earned a BS degree in Telecommunications from St. Mary’s University in Minneapolis, and numerous voice, video and data certifications.

Sheryl Hill is a professional communications specialist with more than 20 years experience in information technology and wide area communications, primarily in healthcare with Onvoy, US West and Honeywell Information Systems.

Sheryl spends significant energy on philanthropic endeavors. Past and present efforts include diabetes patient education, K-12 education, homeless children, supporting food shelves, March of Dimes and Tyler Russell Hill’s Sunshine Memorial Fund at Minneapolis Foundation to name a few.  Most recently Allen & Sheryl Hill founded ClearCause™ Coalition (501c4 public policy) and ClearCause™ Foundation (501c3 public outreach) for safe global youth travel, foreign exchange and study abroad.

Sheryl is a member of World Speaker’s Association, International Association of Near Death Studies,  American Pen Women and Horizon 101 (Wise Women).

She is married to Allen Hill since 1988. Together they have two sons.  Tyler Hill, 1991-2007, died a preventable death on a People to People Student Ambassador Trip to Japan in 2007 at sixteen years old.  Alec Hill was born in 1995.  The Hills enjoy living on one of Minnesota’s 10,000 lakes with their dog Blaze, B-lazy boy.
